Vertical Integration

Vertical Integration Powers the Possibilities

EA is uniquely structured with deep and diverse expertise in each of the value chain functions, minimizing our reliance on outsourcing. Our experience is what makes us different.

Unlike some of its competitors, EA is not dependent on any one market, which gives us the financial stability to weather inevitable market changes and uncertainties. And because we offer the full breadth of development, EPC, O&M and asset management services either a-la-carte or as part of a turnkey project, we have the ability to see long-term and work toward achieving long-term success.

Vertical Integration

We are one of the world’s largest manufacturers of silicon solar panels from “sand to sun.” That means we control the entire manufacturing process, from polysilicon to wafers and from solar cell production to solar panel assembly. Highly automated production of ingots, wafers, solar cells and panels ensures tight control of our materials and production quality.

Benefits of vertical integration include:

  • Strict quality control measures at all stages of the manufacturing process

  • Elimination of redundancies

  • Reduced carbon emissions

  • Continuous process and cost optimization along the PV value chain

  • Research & Development Labs

EA Solar Photovoltaic Research, Development, and After-Sales Center, California

In October 2014, EA opened the photovoltaic R&D and after-sales service center, which is located in California, USA.

As the only solar PV manufacturer to establish its own comprehensive product evaluation, testing, and service facility in USA, EA delivers enhanced client service to USA customers through every stage of the project lifecycle.

Solar Panel Recycling

EA Solar panels are well within regulatory requirements for toxicity based on Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) testing and are not considered hazardous waste.

It is also possible to recycle our solar panels. In USA, we currently work with PV CYCLE to manage the return and recycling of solar panels and we are committed to recycling retired solar panels.

For more information on our sustainability commitments, please see our latest corporate sustainability report. For recycling information in your region, please contact: service@energyamericagroup.com

Unprecedented Quality Standards and Assurance

Every EA Solar product is produced and supplied under the most stringent quality standards. We meticulously control and execute every step of the manufacturing process to enable the cost-effective performance of EA Solar products.

Vertical Integration Enables Cost-saving and Reliability

EA applies strict quality control measures in all stages of the manufacturing process. Vertical integration helps eliminate redundancy and reduce carbon emissions. Verticalization also enables us to realize continuous process and cost optimization along the PV value chain.

Affiliated Top Quality Manufacturing

Our strict quality control ensures compliance with ISO and internationally recognized quality standards such as IEC, TÜV, for example.

Constant Innovations

EA strives to implement continuous innovation in technology, products, and service based on customer needs. These innovative practices have provided customers with better products and energy solutions that enable better returns on investment.

Highly Automated

We use a highly automated manufacturing process supported by the most technologically advanced equipment to mitigate environmental effects and ensures the highest-quality products.

Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

We use the FMEA process to make improvements and improve reaction speed. Every process in manufacturing is monitored and recorded, and every potential risk is technically mitigated by preventive analysis. We strive to provide a perfect product to customers with a zero failure rate.
