TEXAS SOLAR FARM DEVELOPMENT

Energy America (EA) today announced the signing of a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the Solar farm development. The project, consisting of a 20 megawatt (MWac) solar project, is expected to begin delivery of clean electricity to Austin areas in late 2022.

The Project is located on unincorporated land in Austin, Texas, administered by the Federal Bureau of Land Management, land set aside for utility-scale renewable energy development. The project will utilize horizontal single-axis tracking solar photovoltaic (PV) technology and is expected to create more than 100 construction jobs.
